The open-world fantasy RPG Crown and Adventure joins the Steam Wargame Fest from April 29 to May 6! Heroes, build your legion on the Eulogize, recruit unique characters and soldiers, and create your legend in this world! The game is about to launch in late 2025, and our free demo is now live on Steam. Jump in and add "Crown and Adventure" to your wishlist!



In "Crown and Adventure", you can recruit heroes as your generals, and collect your favorite soldiers from the whole world, forming a powerful legion to be your blade and shield. In the current demo, you can recruit up to 7 Heroes and try out a part of [Chen-Yuan] soldier units. In the release version, you'll have over 50 recruitable heroes and all units from the 4 main factions: Chen-Yuan Empire, Caucaid, Sasin, and Demonspawn. Additionally, there are some special factions to discover and recruit!

Chen-Yuan

Each major faction has its unique unit traits. Chen-Yuan units are well-balanced and focus on teamwork and formation tactics. As a unified empire, they follow orders and work together seamlessly, rarely showing any weakness and excelling in head-on battles.

Caucaid

Caucaid is made up of six Archduke states, each with its strengths. Their main army is versatile but not outstanding in any one area. Each type of Caucaid soldier has strong combat ability, but because the six Archduke states are loosely connected, their teamwork isn't the best. Due to Caucaid focus on technology and magician research for decades, they have a real edge on the battlefield.

Sasin

Sasin inherited the main legacy of the Ancient Empire, using mysterious rituals and formations to unleash terrifying power from their Soldiers. Their armies are mainly made up of fast-light infantry and cavalry, supported by elite warriors on the front lines, making them invisible. But if they lose their formation or rituals, they may be crashed at the moment.

Demonspawn

The Demonspawn can also be recruited by players. Their powerful legion is made up of three clans, each with its own specialty and top-tier single-unit ability. But to get the Demonspawn server, you'll need to meet some tough requirements. Also, the three clans don't always get along, so teamwork can be tricky and sometimes even backfire.

Strategy

Besides each unit's unique abilities, changing your formation to gain different buffs, makes them stronger in battle.



For example, a Ki Practiser grants Resistance and Range Block buffs to adjacent units in all four directions, making them perfect for the center of your Team.



Senior Escorts claim special bonuses from Chen-Yuan units, and with the right Chen-Yuan faction deployment, the whole team will be boosted. Hero units have an even bigger impact on your formation. For example, in this demo, "Deng Zhiqiu" provides an aura that boosts all Escorts and melee Units. Try building your unique team around the passive ability auras of your hero units!



Within the same unit type, you can use "Promote" to upgrade them into upper-class soldiers with new stats and ability effects. Some soldiers on the upgrade tech path have unique abilities or other special traits, so you might want to keep these soldiers as they are and not promote them further, but still want them to be useful in future battles. You can use the "Level Mastery" feature to raise their level cap to 50. But they will no longer be promoted further. Both "Promote" and "Level Mastery" will become available when a unit reaches its current level cap. Strategically choose what suits your target and build your dream team.
